Revenge Anthology

Its hard to believe that 2017 is almost over -- where has the time gone?  But I'm pleased to announce that I've scored another publication before we ring in the new year.

My story, Interred, will soon appear in the Revenge anthology, published by Thirteen Press and edited by a writer who I admire [and have had the pleasure of knowing for several years], Dorothy Davies.

Here's the cover art for this cool collection of salacious short stories!

I'll post publication information when this anthology goes to print. Until then, Have a happy holidays!

Kicking off Halloween season with a publishing update

Image result for digital horror fictionReaders and friends:

With Halloween just around the corner, I'm pleased to announce that my short story, Home to Meet Mother, has been selected to appear in an upcoming anthology to be published by Digital Horror Fiction.

What makes this publication special to me is that this is the very first short story I ever wrote.  The version that will appear in the anthology is a heavily reworked / modified version of that clunky, early story from a point in my learning curve when I was just starting out, only much more concise--and hence, far more potent as a piece of tension-inducing short fiction.

I'll post more details as we get closer to publication time.  Until then...

Interred published by Horror Tree

I'm pleased to announce that my short story, Interred, has been published by Horror Tree's Trembling With Fear imprint.

Interred is a story about a man who wakes up to discover that he's unable to move or speak, and about to be buried alive.

This is a very satisfying publication credit, given Horror Tree's importance to the genre / industry.  ‘Trembling With Fear’ Is Horror Tree’s weekly inclusion of shorts and drabbles, posted every Sunday.

The story can be accessed HERE.

Enjoy -- feedback welcome!

2017 starts off with a bang... and another publication!

Devolution Z January 2017Friends:

I am pleased to report that my short story, Incident Zero, has been published in the January 2017 edition of Devolution Z horror magazine.

Incident Zero is a torn from the headlines* story depicting the first zombie encounter, preceding the broader apocalypse, told from the perspective of a harried and preoccupied Miami police officer.

The January 2017 edition is available via Amazon.com in both print and digital formats.

Enjoy... and happy new year!

*Or at least it was, when I originally penned this story back in 2013! I had a tough time finding the right venue to publish this story, and I'm incredibly happy that it found a home with Devolution Z -- a perfectly themed market for this particular work.
