About Me

I love great stories, and I love to write.

I believe that the scariest stories resonate psychologically with the reader, and my passion is to create stories that make the reader see, feel, and understand the visceral fear experienced by my characters.  If you demand more from your horror fiction than gimmicky scares, unnecessarily goriness, and predictably overused themes, then do I have some stories for you...

My biggest influences in the horror genre are Alfred Hitchcock, Stephen King, Jack Ketchum, Ramsey Campbell, John Carpenter, Robert Bloch, and H.P. Lovecraft.

My stories have been published in several horror themed markets, and also appear in numerous commercially distributed anthologies.

I currently serve as an editor for Dark Moon Books and Dark Moon Digest [I'm a sucker for exceptionally written short fiction!], and I'm an active member of Cornell University's Irving Literary Society.

In real life, I'm a die hard Syracuse University fan [Let's Go Orange!], a voracious reader, an avid basketball enthusiast, and a proud husband / father who enjoys reading to his daughters.
